Green Bee are specialists in Domestic energy assessing and licensed DEA's (Domestic Energy Assessors). We are accredited members of ECMK which are endorsed by the Government to carry out Energy Performances and issue an EPC (Energy Performance Certificate) on domestic dwellings. We can also provide advice on how to improve the energy efficiency of your home.

All rental properties require an EPC if the tenancy agreements are renewed after the 1st October 2008. If you are selling your property, you will also need an EPC as it now forms part of the HIP's (Home Information Pack).

Green Bee can carry out your domestic energy assessment and issue your property an energy performance certificate. We carry out EPC's for private landlords, letting agents, housing associations, estate agents, solicitors and local councils. The mission of Green Bee Housing is to help empower people by bringing the knowledge needed to households to make a positive contribution to the environment by helping reduce their carbon footprint. Using the energy performance certificates we aim to build upon and advance this starting point, set out by the Government into a more thorough assessment of domestic housing by advising our clients how to better insulate their properties, therefore reducing the amount of energy required to heat their property and reducing their energy costs.By utilising technologies such as thermal imaging machines and air tightness tests we can more thoroughly predict areas within our property that waste energy. Green Bee Housing aim to convince local councils and government that these tests should be included within the energy performance certificate as a bare minimum, after all the idea of energy performance certificates is to help us all reduce our energy costs and carbon footprint.
